Higher Education Program Director

Teacher and B.A. in History from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, with a diploma in Distance Education from Universidad de Chile. She also has a degree in Higher Education Quality Assurance from the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) of England and the British Council.

Consultant with over 20 years’ experience, she has concentrated on themes connected to higher education quality assurance, participating in the design and implementation of licensing models, program accreditation and institutional accreditation. Torre has been assistant technical secretary of the National Undergraduate Accreditation Committee, representative for Chile in the Mercosur education work group, chief of Content and Priority Fulfillment of the Minister of Education and Executive Secretary of the National Education Council. She has performed various consulting jobs in matters of institutional evaluation, accreditation mechanism implementation and organizational design and management in Chile and Latin America.
