WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

The National Network of Housing Monitoring, ReNaM, is a project conceived and financed by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development (MINVU) of Chile, whose design, operation and maintenance are under the responsibility of Fundación Chile. The ReNaM installs sensors inside homes that capture the level of environmental variables (temperature, humidity, noise, and air quality) to monitor and evaluate their use. It is implemented in 300 homes in five regions.
