The event aimed to show the progress of the program and pause to reflect on the challenges facing the initiative to move from pilot testing to the development of an industrial stage where world class providers market their services and products to the national and world mining industry.
Schedule of program implementation
In 2010, Codelco joined BHP Billiton to boost the development of local suppliers of world class; it also joined the support of Innovum Fundación Chile, as a neutral actor of the initiative, whose target country is to have 250 suppliers of this type to 2020.After nearly four years of implementing the program, developed jointly by BHP-Billiton and Codelco, it has more than 90 projects and involves 73 suppliers
