FCh sponsors the Health Innovation Award
Last week, Elige Vivir Sano (Choose to Live Healthy) opened the entriesto participate and become a potential winner of the Healthy Innovation Award, a contest that recognizes different businesses knownfortheirinnovate healthy food processing and marketing practices, as well as for promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Fundación Chile is a sponsor of this great award that contributes to the achievement of the health goals set for 2020, to reduce the risk factors associated with a disease burden, through the promotion of healthy habits and lifestyles. Andrés Barros, Manager of Food and Biotechnology, was part of the expert committee that prepared the terms and conditionsof this award.
The award recognizes the efforts of the food industry in the elaboration and marketing of healthy processed foods by reducing the contents of critical nutrients and increasing the intake of healthy nutrients.
