Manager of Innovum discuss at International Conference about the Korean development experience
In a panel along with the director of the Division of Labor Markets IDB, Carmen Pages, our manager of Innovum FCh, Hernán Araneda, spoke about the Latin American experience in Technical Vocational Training, where the areas that can be applied to Korean lessons were identified, describing the challenges facing this side of the world to grow as the Asian country did.
The international conference “The Korean Experience: Lessons for Development” was held in Washington and focused on accelerating the development experience of Korea and its possible lessons for Latin America. Topics addressed from how to have better regulations, policies competitiveness, technological development and innovation incentives, among others; stressing that the extraordinary growth of Korea in recent decades has a mainstay in technical vocational training.
