Successful Opening Ceremony of Water Week Latinoamérica
Water Week Latinoamérica was initiated with a successful attendance. It was the first regional congress for the use of water, with the presence and participation of the Minister of Agriculture, Luis Mayol; the Minister of Public Works, Loreto Silva; the Mayoress of Viña del Mar, Virginia Reginato; and the President of Fundación Chile, Álvaro Fischer.
Furthermore, it had the presence of important international speakers, including Gerard Payen with his lecture called “Towards an Ambitious Global Goal on Water”, and John Briscoe with his lecture called “Water Security in a Changing World”.
