It is Fundación Chile’s entrepreneurship, innovation, and investment area, which seeks to enable and strengthen ecosystems capable of making a significant contribution with new solutions to humanity’s challenges for Chile’s sustainable development.
Today, Fundación Chile seeks to contribute to the diversification and transformation of Chile’s productive matrix through the incorporation of new technologies, knowledge, and innovation.
In this context, ChileGlobal Ventures seeks to enable and strengthen ecosystems capable of making a significant contribution with new solutions to humanity’s challenges for Chile’s sustainable development.
This is done by supporting startups, large companies, and other public and private organizations that see innovation and technology as a key lever to address climate change; support sustainable, fair economic development; and promote inclusive human development.
Fundación Chile, through ChileGlobal Ventures, has been a pioneer in strengthening and enabling different productive sectors, such as the first venture capital funds in Latin America.
In 2018, they launched “CLIN,” the first fund (US$20M) that leverages corporate resources and focuses on sustainability and productivity in areas such as energy, water, mining, among others.
They also have the country’s longest-standing investor network, “ChileGlobal Angels,” which has contributed to the growth of multiple startups that are changing the world and have become benchmarks, both locally and globally.
At ChileGlobal Ventures, they seek to promote solutions to urgent problems through entrepreneurship and ecosystem collaboration. This is done through:
01—Venture Capital: We connect startups with investors committed to generating sustainable value and growth opportunities.
02—Acceleration: We strengthen the best startups in the ecosystem to drive the growth of innovative solutions.
03—Corporate Venturing: We connect corporations with startups so they can achieve high-impact results together.
