Through this initiative, Fundación Chile seeks to promote a lifelong learning system that enables people to build education-to-employment pathways connected to the new challenges of a changing world.
For more than 20 years, at Fundación Chile we have promoted a relevant and high-quality training system for work in order to help strengthen Human Development. During this period, we have been active players in the creation of the country’s first Sector Skills Councils and have supported the Government in the development and implementation of Chile’s Technical and Vocational Qualifications Framework.
From the perspective of Educational Pathways, we have promoted the improvement of Technical and Vocational Secondary Education, contributing to the systemic improvement of technical high schools across the country, strengthening their connection with the ecosystem, and promoting the enhancement of their educational projects.
Today, in a constantly changing world with increasing digitalization, new talent equipped with skills and competencies is required to support these major transformations and contribute to the country’s sustainable development.
