In 2024, the President of the Republic of Chile, Gabriel Boric, announced and presented a new State public policy to improve the country’s productivity and competitiveness, as well as to contribute to strengthening the entrepreneurship ecosystem and the development of applied research in productive and strategic sectors: StartupLabs.
In this context, Corfo commissioned Fundación Chile to implement the first of these hubs providing specific support for science- and technology-based entrepreneurship in Chile (STBE), with a focus on Climate Change, “startuplab.01,” thereby contributing to mitigation, resilience, and adaptation to Climate Change, as well as to sustainable productive diversification, positioning Chile as a regional benchmark.
