Chile faces the challenge of moving toward more sustainable and resilient development that is connected to the needs of its territories. Strategic sectors such as mining, energy, construction, agribusiness, tourism, and the circular economy are undergoing profound transformations driven by innovation, decarbonization, and new environmental and social requirements.
In this scenario, training green talent becomes key to preparing people for the jobs and challenges demanded by the sustainable transition, strengthening capacities that make it possible to drive new productive models and contribute to the development of the regions.
Each territory has its own realities, opportunities, and productive vocations, which is why relevant training connected to local needs is required—one capable of linking technical and vocational education with the challenges of communities and productive sectors.
Green Talent seeks to contribute to this challenge through a model that promotes capacity building for sustainability, fostering collaboration between the education and training sector, the productive sector, and territorial actors, in order to contribute to the sustainable development of the regions and the country.
